Brian Sadgrove

Brian Sadgrove is the founder of Sadgrove Design Partners (1968), a design practice with expertise in corporate design, packaging, architectural graphics and web site design.

After studying at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, Brian worked as an editorial Designer at BHP and the Department of Trade, and later as an art director at USP and J Walter Thompson. Brian has worked with a diverse range of clients including Reserve Bank of Australia, National Parliament of Australia and Australia Post Philatelic Group as well as a large number of retail and commercial clients.

His work has won numerous awards in Australia and overseas and has been represented in many design publications including Graphis, Idea, Design, Design World, Design Down Under, Art Directors Club of New York and One show. He is a Fellow of the Design Institute of Australia and Member of the Australian Graphic Design Association and the Australian Design Academy. He is also a recipient of the Victorian Design Hall of Fame for Graphic Design and is on the course advisory board of the National School of Design at Swinburne University.
