Andrew Ashton
Andrew Ashton was born in Sydney Australia in 1969 and has practised graphic design since 1989. Andrew has created a diverse body of graphic and communication works that utilises a unique mix of image making and writing. Andrew is committed to widening the community’s access to the benefits of creative thinking and outcomes. His work life is split between working at communication design firm Pip and Co. (peoplethings.com) and teaching at the National Institute of Design, Prahran. Andrew coordinated the communication programme for the State of Design Festival with Kathy Demos on behalf of the Melbourne Museum and the Victorian Government, held in Melbourne late July 2004.
In his spare time he reads twenty pages into any book, then gets bored, he also loves baking meat rare to medium. Andrew is married to Pip, they have a new son Willem, their most inspiring design project.
